February to March is another excellent window for visiting Rishikesh, as the weather remains comfortably warm and sunny. This period allows travelers to enjoy scenic treks to the nearby hills and partake in local festivals, such as Mahashivratri. The clear skies also provide stunning views of the Ganges, making photography a delightful experience.

In contrast, the monsoon season from June to August brings heavy rainfall that can disrupt travel plans. The rivers swell, leading to potential flooding and landslides, which may close popular trekking routes and other attractions. Additionally, the humidity can make outdoor activities uncomfortable, and health advisories for waterborne diseases are common during this time.

Visiting during the peak summer months of April and May may also be challenging due to extreme heat, with temperatures soaring above 40°C. This intense heat can limit outdoor exploration and deter visitors from enjoying Rishikesh’s natural beauty, making it less appealing for those looking for adventure and relaxation.
